Lucy was diagnosed with diabetes 10 years ago and had been struggling with feeling down about dealing with the constant demands of injections, blood tests and everything else that she needed to do to care for her diabetes. Working with Jen helped her realise what a crucial role her thoughts were having and how some quick, simple techniques could dramatically increase her motivation and health.

Jen is passionate about translating complex psychological concepts into a style that is accessible to all. Her skill in this area has been acknowledged by her being shortlisted for a MIND Journalism Award in 2009.
